In 3 days I will be on my way back to Haiti to a place called Cap-Haitian, it's in the northern part of Haiti. This time I will be going with a group called Rayjon from Sarnia on a leadership trip so that one day I can lead trips through Rayjon to the Dominican Republic and Haiti!! I will be joined by 3 other youth members and a professor from Toronto and our trip leader Bob! We will be meeting 3 other Rayjon members down in Haiti. We fly to Fort Lauderdale on Saturday and we will be staying overnight in the airport and then head to Port au Prince at 7:30 am Sunday morning. When we arrive in Port au Prince we will take a flight to Cap Haitian which takes about an hour. I am so excited to be able to be going back one year later to a place that a has a huge chunk of my heart! I'm excited to be able to interact with the Haitian people, eat some Haitian food and see the beautiful sights! I am not sure of our exact agenda just yet but do know we will spending a lot of time at the Sacred Heart centre that Rayjon supports and helping out with the daycare that is run their in the morning. I am also able to bring a guitar along with me this trip and am learning a couple french songs to be able to sing with the children:) Please keep our group in your thoughts and prayers!! I hope to update once from Haiti!
